Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician
San Francisco, CA
We are seeking an energetic, driven, fun-loving, compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. A background in early childhood education, theater and/or music is preferred, however it is not required. You will receiving ongoing training throughout our time with Amare Dignitas. The Behavior Technician will work closely with individuals diagnosed on the spectrum, implementing evidence-based strategies to promote positive behavior change. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care, data collection, and behavioral health practices to support our clients effectively. On-going training and supervision will be provided. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA). Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home and community environments. Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals. Assist in conducting patient assessments to identify needs and develop appropriate strategies. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all interactions with clients and their families. Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent application of behavioral strategies. Engage in ongoing training and professional development related to applied behavior analysis (ABA). Qualifications Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to collect data accurately for client assessments and on-going treatment.
